Multi-Tab Editing

Work on multiple notes simultaneously with a familiar tabbed interface, just like a code editor. Each tab has its own content, color tag, and zoom level.

Zoom & Page Margins

Scale the document surface to any zoom level and adjust the top, bottom, left, and right page margins independently to suit your workflow.

Dark Mode

Switch between light and dark themes with a single click. The app remembers your preference across sessions — no flicker on load.

Floating Window

Fullscreen Mode

Enter a distraction-free fullscreen environment that hides the toolbar and tabs. A minimal floating bar appears on hover for quick formatting.

Privacy First

Your notes never leave your device. There are no user accounts, no cloud sync, and no server that could hold your content.

  • Stored in browser localStorage, with IndexedDB for larger notes
  • No server-side storage of note content
  • No sign-up, no email required
  • Clearing browser data deletes notes permanently

Export & File Formats

The PDF and Word writers are built into the app rather than calling a service, so exporting works offline like everything else.

  • Plain text (.txt) with Ctrl+S
  • HTML with formatting preserved
  • PDF, generated in-browser
  • Word (.docx), generated in-browser
  • Open existing .txt, .html and .md files

Right-to-Left Languages

Direction is detected per paragraph from its first letter, so a single note can mix Arabic and English without either one being misaligned.

  • Arabic, Hebrew, Persian, Urdu, Syriac, Thaana, N'Ko
  • Bullets and numbering flip to the correct side
  • RTL tables lay their columns out right to left
  • Pin a paragraph's direction manually from the Format menu
  • Direction is carried through to Word export
