It provides online notes functionality including rich text formatting, multi-tab editing, file export, and offline support via a Progressive Web App (PWA). The Service is available at notepadneo.com and is provided free of charge, with no login or account required.

Use of the Service

You may use Notepad Neo for any lawful personal or professional purpose. This includes but is not limited to:

• Taking free online notes for study, work, or personal use
• Drafting and editing documents using the online notepad editor
• Using the digital notepad online as a scratch pad or idea capture tool
• Writing, formatting, and exporting text using the online text editor

Data and your responsibility

All data you create in this online notepad is stored locally in your browser's local storage and IndexedDB. It is never transmitted to our servers. We are not responsible for data loss caused by clearing browser storage, browser or OS updates, device failure, accidental deletion, or any other event outside our control.

We strongly recommend exporting important notes regularly using the File → Save function. As an online notes free service that stores everything client-side, data recovery is not possible from our end once local storage is cleared.

Service availability

We aim to keep this free notepad online available at all times. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the Service. We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any interruption or modification of the Service.

Intellectual property

The Notepad Neo name, logo, visual design, and underlying source code are the intellectual property of Notepad Neo. Your note content remains entirely your own. We claim no rights, ownership, or license over anything you write using this online notes taker. We have no access to your content and never will.

Advertising

To keep this best free online notepad available at no cost, the Service may display contextual advertisements. These ads are served by third-party networks (such as Google AdSense) and are subject to those networks' own terms and privacy policies. Ad content is not controlled or endorsed by Notepad Neo.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim all warranties including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors.
